To my friends that are not in the US: Do you get this kind of propaganda?
by CaptainSchmideo ini know a lot of brits, aussies, canadians, etc, always marvel at the arrogance, haughtiness, and cockiness of us tourists visiting their countries.
or how mainstream us citizens just fall in line with anything that comes out of the government's mouth, accept any policy as "good", believe all that stuff about how "america is the greatest nation on earth!"..
how it gets ingrained into the being of most us citizens?.

What Dreams Have you Had, and have you Talked in Your Sleep ?
by flipper innow here is a little different subject we haven't discussed much.
i read a book a while back about dreams called, gestalt therapy verbatim , by frederick perls, a well known psychologist .
his take on dreams, without getting too deep, was we dream about unfinished situations in our lives which are troubling us still .

I had the scariest dream of my life about 6 years ago. I was in the Kingdom Hall with a cleaning group. I remember my brother was using a wooden vacuum. I went to the bathroom and stood in front of the mirror. I was trying to see the reflection of myself in my pupil in the mirror. Well all of the sudden I heard a demonic style laugh and the walls did a trippy melty thing. The room was kind of shifting up and down and I was just staring at myself. My eyes were red and I was freaking out BAD because I couldn't move I was just stuck staring at myself with the room going crazy. I realized it was a dream and wanted OUT, but couldn't escape. I thought about how I could wake myself up. I tried thinking really hard and screaming hoping someone at home would hear and wake me up. That didn't work so I just concentrated really really hard on waking up. I woke up with my eye open facing the bed like I had been rubbing my eyelid on the sheet. I was also crying and had tears streaming down my face. It was the scariest dream I ever had in my life. By that time I was fading and it made me want to fade even more. It was the scariest dream ever and I remember it like it was yesterday.

Chilvary, Women's Rights and Striking a Woman
by coolhandluke inbefore i start this, i under no circumstance condone striking another human especially a woman except for in self defense.. with that stated i was bred to believe and still do that it is my responsibility to protect the women in my life.
i try to teach a measure of self defense to my sisters daughters and almost every girlfriend and female friend that i've ever had.
the following thoughts were produced from a discussion with my ex girlfriend.

Suggestions needed?

well ive been raised in the truth for 20 years, and serve as an ms, but have overtime realized that its not actually the "truth".. any thoughts on how to best let it be known that im not interested in being a witness, and once thats accomplished how to assimilate myself into.
the "world", since ive been shut off from it for my whole life and programmed to believe every non witness is only interested in hurting others.. any thoughts would be helpful.

As a youngster I think it's probably a lot easier for you then most of the older ones on here. One way is to do the fade. Just slowly miss more and more and hope people just get used to you missing and forget all about you. Personally I think if you live on your own, just make your stand. This is easier said then done though.

Oh my I was actually going to make a post about this exact thing but forgot. Last night I had a strange dream where I was in a huge house. It was haunted and in one of the rooms a boy was sleeping in whenever he turned out the lights all over the walls in glowing blue and green was "Jehovah is Gog of Magog". He was scared and I was trying to convince him that this was positive and he should just go to sleep. The house was definitely creepy. Then I went outside and was able to speak to the "keeper" of the house. She was a nice older women who was very pleasant and spoke in a very "matter of fact" manor. I asked her about one particular room in the house which was very active with spirits and she said, "oh those are just the old magicians, I was written a ticket (at work we have online tickets for work orders) for them". I then found it odd someone gives her work orders. I then told her I would help with the upkeep of the house and she vanished. It was a very strange dream and I woke up a bit scared.
I assume this was jut a hodgepodge of sub-conscious things all thrown together. I don't have dreams like this often.

You should read her the scripture in Revelation where the angel says, "I wish you were either hot or cold". It is completely unfair and is still unfair if she shuns you after having gone back on the original decision. Yep I could see Jesus backing her actions in full...crazy dub parents...no offense.

One day at work I was explaining to a friend some thing I was doing over the weekend (can't remember what). I bent down to show him and my pants ripped right along the butt. It was loud when it happened too. I was also not wearing any underwear...so I had to email someone from his computer and barrow a hoodie to put around my ass. It was almost out of a movie.

Snakes please read the other posts I made..maybe I was not clear about it but I was just venting a bit about it. I honestly am not that distraught over this. It's just something as I stated before that grates my nerves, and I am sure a few other people on this board find it a bit annoying. I wasn't trying to insult or piss anyone off just letting others who might feel as I do they are not alone. Nor am I am trying to get rid of it. The Karma/point system was just a bit of a common example.

OK first of all Mary I wasn't suggesting that it be taken away. Also if you read my post after the first one, I pointed out I wasn't being that serious just that people gloating about the number of posts they have has always grated my nerves a little bit. So I wanted to vent and in the process cause a little controversy!
